DDUP doubles speed: EMC pleasantly surprised

Data Domain announced their DD880 today that doubles the speed and capacity of the DD690.  Nice move.  It looks like it was news to us AND EMC!

NetBackup OST just got cooler

I just got off the phone with the folks at Symantec where we talked about NBU 6.5.4.  The thing that stood out for me were the enhancements for OST, so I thought I’d talk about those.

It's over. I think. NTAP withdrew its bid for DDUP

NetApp officially pulled out of its bidding for Data Domain today, allowing the EMC acquisition to move forward.
