HP-UX OS 11 with Networker 6.01 build 174 client /usr/lib/dld.sl: Unresolved symbol: acl (code) from /opt/networker/bin/save

I upgraded around 25 HP-UX networker clients from a previous versions of networker client to 6.01, all running OS version 11.00 Two of these a T600 and a V2500 (64-bit) both gave the error: /usr/lib/dld.sl: Unresolved symbol: acl (code) from /opt/networker/bin/save, when attempting a save. I was able to uninstall and install a previous version of the client (networker 5.5.1 build 115 "NOV 1999 CD") This version worked without fault to our Legato 6.01 build 174 server.

Legato has suggested that it's a faulty HP-UX library which can be resolved with patches PHKL_19991, (Probably superceded), and also PHC0_22076. I have not tried these, but would be interested in knowing if anyone else has experienced this issue.

The March 2001 multi-pack appears to include the appropriate patches to fix this issue.
