How can I create a directive to skip all instances of a file under a directory?

In the NetWorker GUI, go to Customize/Directives and create a new directive. Give it a name that is descriptive of the files you are skipping, ie; "Skip MP3 files". Now add the disk volumes and the directive as shown below.

 +skip: *.MP3
 << "D:\" >>
 +skip: *.MP3
 etc, etc

Apply and file exit.

Add this new directive to the client on whos backup group you want the skip to be applied to. This directive is for NT.
