Go to Chapter Five of the NetBackup Troubleshooting Guide and follow the detailed steps outlined there. If you cannot find your manual, but have the your CDs, look for the file nbts_unix.pdf or nbts_nt.pdf for UNIX and NT respectively. Read this before you need to recover something.
