Commvault- Data Aging stucks at 93%

Commvault- Data Aging stucks at 93%

Commvault version 8.
We ran the Data Aging job again and it got stucked at 93%. Job came to Pending state. Resumed the Job again and now it was stucked at 13%.

We have checked the Readiness of the commserver. Its ready.
Telnet to mediaagent is also good.

We checked the Eventviewer and noticed this event :
Processes for job[183647] were forcefully terminated. Event code : 19:1041

In Logs for this Job under DataAging section, it shows that there is no AGED data that can be used for this Data Aging Job. To verify this, we ran the Media Retention report and confirmed that there was actually Nothing that could be used for this Job.

Now the main issue is that Job should complete with appropriate logs and messages rather than getting stucked at 93%.

The only error I noticed in log file is :

Hi Kaps,

Have you tried stopping and starting the CommVault services, using the Service Control Manager? Try this on the MediaAgent.

When was the last time you recycled the servers?
