Hi rsnapshot gurus,

What does the message: "skipped due to rollback plan" mean?

I have to confess, this is not a feature I've ever used. Nathan put it
in before I took over. A nearby comment in the code says ...

# check to see if this destination path has already failed
# if it's set to be rolled back, skip out now

So hopefully that means something to you :-)

The idea here is that rsnapshot looks at the source path for each
backup point. If a backup fails from a given server, all subsequent
backups from that server will be skipped. Finally, there's some code
in there to try to rearrange the snapshot root so it's in a
consistent state at the end.

Some of the things in CVS aren't as well tested as the release code.
I believe the rollback code works pretty well, but I would do plenty
of testing before making any releases from the CVS tree.

Hope that helps!
