The email from a job contains the password in clear text [Updated]

This is something which I knew about for years but only recently became an issue.
The emails after each job look like this:

01-Mar 09:01 sabbath-dir JobId 8616: shell command: run BeforeJob "/usr/libexec/bacula/make_catalog_backup.pl MyCatalog {redacted} {redacted} {redacted}"
01-Mar 09:01 sabbath-dir JobId 8616: Start Backup JobId 8616, Job=Catalog.2018-03-01_09.00.00_13
01-Mar 09:01 sabbath-dir JobId 8616: Using Device "FileStorageCatalog" to write.
01-Mar 09:01 sabbath-sd JobId 8616: Volume "CatVol0261" previously written, moving to end of data.
01-Mar 09:01 sabbath-sd JobId 8616: Elapsed time=00:00:01, Transfer rate=0 Bytes/second
01-Mar 09:01 sabbath-sd JobId 8616: Sending spooled attrs to the Director. Despooling 0 bytes ...
01-Mar 09:01 sabbath-dir JobId 8616: Bacula sabbath-dir 9.0.6 (20Nov17):
Build OS: x86_64-redhat-linux-gnu redhat Seven)
JobId: 8616

etc.

I'd like to continue getting them but not have them show the credentials in the areas I redacted above.

[Update]

I've looked again at these emails and it's only the catalog backups which do this - is it because these are the only ones which run the shell command first?
