Change MAXNUMMP Value for Registering Nodes in OC
May 23, 2018 02:59AM
Hi all,

does anybody know if it is possible to change the default MAXNUMMP-Value which is used to register Nodes via Operations Center?
It always uses MAXNNUMMP=7, I'd like to change it to 8, if possible.
I know I can change it afterwards, but then I can do registering via command line anyway...

Stefan,
This isn't of much help but it has to be defined in the client add wizard of the operations center, if you define a node from the server CLI it defaults to 1.
Adding a client using the OC you will notice on the console that it explicitly specifies 7 for the maxnummp parameter.

ANR2017I Administrator ##### issued command: REGISTER NODE TEST ?***?
USERID=NONE TYPE=CLIENT AUTHENTICATION=LOCAL DOMAIN=FILE_DOMAIN
DEDUPLICATION=SERVERONLY SSLREQUIRED=DEFAULT MAXNUMMP=7

I spent a considerable amount of time trying to figure out how to change it but so far have had no luck.
