netbackup media-server -> master-server

Posted by shoodlum
All-

I have the following setup

location 1

media server
master server
---
location 2
media server

the locations are connected with a fast network connection
but every-once-in-a-while I have a network connection problem(about 2 seconds) between the 2 sites, when this happens the running jobs at location 2 fail

is this correct that media servers needs constant contact with master servesr?

thanks for your time
