Hi Theirry,

The only way I found to verify that a saveset is encrypted is to change the
passphrase and test a restore. The error messages will indicate it was
encrypted.

I suspect that running a restore in debug mode would also indicate that it
is encrypted by showing the AES directive.

Subject: Identify AES Encrypted saveset ?

Hello,

Did anyone once play with directive-based AES Saveset encryption ?

Any way to identify/verify/query about encrypted saveset(s) ?

I have been asked to check for possible on-the-fly saveset

encryption when saving folder or server-wide (Current 8.2.0.5 on
Win2008R2/x64).

Any good/bad feedback ?

Thanks !

Th

Kind regards - Bien cordialement - Vriendelijke groeten,
