1234567890! is gone

PDFPrintE-mail

If you're not a UNIX geek, you won't care, but a milestone just happened, where UNIX time was 1234567890.  You could have counted down with me, but it's over now.  If you have no idea what I'm talking about, click Read More to be enlightened.
UNIX systems measure time as the number of seconds since January 1, 1970. Today, the number of seconds since January 1, 1970 were 1234567890 (UTC time, of course).  See?  Wasn't that cool?

Now get back to work.

My countdown ended at 12 : 01 AM this morning. Guess what it was for? If you are like me then you were just getting to your seats to catch the Friday the 13th remake at the Regal iMax. My wife did forbid me however from bringing my 5 year old with me. I figured since I was 5 when I first saw the original F13 that it would be good for the boy. She disagreed.
