This is typical behavior.

On most systems, the routing of each packet is determined when the
packet is about to be sent. Just because it comes in a NIC, does't mean
it will response will respond ...

Virtual RDMs are backed up when ALL_LOCAL_DRIVES is selected.

You have to use a media server running on Windows as vStorage API is currently only embeded into such platform. This is actually a limitation due to VMware, not NBU.

If anybody was wondering, I decided to chance it and leave just the full on disc - and the synthetic ran this weekend perfectly.

It was VERY fast and if I could spare the disc space I'd do it every ...
