If u recycle the media, then next backup will overwrite the tape and the previous data will be lost.
Y do u require to recyle the tape. Dont u have enough tapes.?

When configuring backup, select the "Network Share backup" ans select the shared drives.

Another option is to take backup using more than one drive.
