Y do u require to recyle the tape. Dont u have enough tapes.?

When configuring backup, select the "Network Share backup" ans select the shared drives.

This will help to backup the shared mounted drives.

If the backup is taken over SAN then the backup will be fast and will finish soon.

Another option is to take backup using more than one drive.

The message cleary says that the restore has failed due to busy drive.

Check which was the drive used for that particular backup session and see that particular drive is free and then start ...

So, i think that the reason for the low performance of the backup and also, keep a eye on the performance of the server ( i mean the client of which the backup is take) when the backup si running.
