Hi All,

I'm planning to upgrade our NW server, storage nodes and clients to v7.6.1 from 7.5.1.4
All the servers are running Windows OS.

If I apply Microsoft fix, will it have any effect on ibmtp2k3.sys ?

I'd do that immediately and then see if the problem goes away. It could be a bug in the Plug And Play driver

I re-ran inquire after manually mounting a volume to //./Tape2
This time it gave the correct output. Really weird...
Has anyone seen this before ?

We've been getting the following error messgae for one of the tape drives.
Howerver, it's not occurring daily

Jukebox is not ready ot it is busy (alert from NMC)

Networker Server to Client
TCP
7937-7940

All other ports have been blocked.

Any suggestions about the implementation steps I sent earlier ?

Yes, there is a NetScreen firewall system between Networker server (7.5.1.4) and a cleint (7.5.1.4).

We have only one client behind a firewall.

Networker server, storage nodes and all other cleitns are on the other side.

currently nsrports on every host is set to 7937 -9936 / 0-0.

We can add a few more ports to 7937 - 7944.
Per admin guide, 4 service ports would be enough for a client. The client isn't using any module.

7937 - 7944 (for services)
