Forgive me I'm still a noob regarding ARC server r15.
From the looks of it backing up the arcserve database is very important compared to backupexec.
The question I have is which method is ideal.
Is this option ideal?
By checking the box to append arcserve database a good option?

I guess arcserve doesn't have a following like backupexec.
I was able to find the answer chatting with an Arc tech.
By checking the box to append the Arc DB you're fine if anyone cares to know.
