Please mount a blank media to continue

Hello!

I'm trying to write in a 780GB tape 400/800GB when you get 530GB ARCserve asks to insert a second blank tape.

I am using ARCserve 11.5 SP4 with on DELL PowerVault 124T.

Please can someone help me?

Native is 400GB and compress is 800GB. You're not guarantee 800GB but the possibility is there.
I think you've maxed the tape capacity.

I have the same problem...

I had a IBM LTO 3 here...

Do you found the solution???

i think the same as nhbilly

I haved the same problem with my LTO2 200/400

In my case it uses to fit about 280 at maximum 310gig.

Not all the files can be compressed in 2:1 ratio.
