A dead simple but still advanced backup solution needed!

Post A dead simple but still advanced backup solution needed!
So for years I have been telling and asking people about what I want and how I cant believe it's still not around or that I haven't found it yet so maybe someone here can help me.

I am a Developer and also do photo and film for fun, which generates a lot of data.
I want an offsite backup of this and here follows my requirements.

I simply want to set a destination address and select which directories I need backed up on the other side.
I have about 3tb worth of data. I want to do initial backup over local network but then only incremental
It should only transfer at night (and continue next night if not done)
At a set intervall like once a week both ends should verify that all is in order
A mail if something fails

nice to haves
A monitor so I can manage whats not synchronized yet
last full verification time

Now I understand this requires hardware/software on both ends for verification and maybe for other things but thats okay since I have to get some new hardware now anyway.

So to summarize, something super simple but in the background decently advanced.
All I want to input is the destination host and which directories I want backed up and that should be it.

I think there are some services like this for the cloud but with 3tb worth of data that is hardly economical.

Open for all ideas.
I am running windows 7 myself but am thinking about hardware NASes or building my own computer-NAS with Linux so keep the ideas coming no matter requirements.

Only thing that is true is I want to get away as cheaply as possible but with that said I understand that this kind of protection doesn't come cheap.
