Hello all,

I'm sure this topic has been exhausted, but I'm currently evaluating a tool from Quantum called Quantum Vision and will is a very handy tool, its obviously of course limited to only monitoring and reporting just Quantum devices, I also have Data Domain and EMC devices as well, and I wanted to know is there any tool or software that lets you view all various types of hardware?
I like the Quantum Vision software as it lets me consolidate all devices into one viewing pane w/o have to log onto each device separately via a web page and I'm looking for something that is similar to this but not limited to just one brand of hardware.

I've used Perfman (http://www.perfman.com/site/Home.aspx ...not to be confused with MS's Perfmon) with good success. It made it easy to do ad hoc reports and show what was happening in the enterprise. It works for servers, but might be able to handle devices now. It was 5 years ago when I was in a different shop that I used it. Hope this helps.
