I'd like to do something about the darkish green background that appears in the quoted parts of messages on the lists.

In my browser they render the posts nearly unreadable.. I don't think it is a browser setting but it may be. What I see is black text on dark green background.

What does being a `phpbb' setting mean? Is it something I'm doing, or coming from the server?

Never did see any more commentary about this.... so is the dark green background something I can adjust... or am I just stuck with it?

I have similar problems with the PHPBB theme. I think that the problem is the poor quality of my monitors, which makes the grey-on-dark green very hard on the eyes. My home PCs have better monitors, so I'd have to check there.

@HarryPutnam: PHPBB is the underlying forum software. Most PHPBB forums I visit allow their users to adjust their own profiles and some settings, like themes. Apparently, Backup Central does not allow its users to do so. Either that, or I am blind .

Nope Johat, you're right. The problem is how we've connected Joomla (the software that runs backupcentral.com) and phpbb (the software that runs the forums). If you click on your phpbb profile, it just takes you back to Joomla. Sorry about that.
