Backup Central

Hi

I am looking for any good resource on Lotus Npotes Backup. I recently backed up myLotus Notes with a third party software(Handy Backup) to an external harddrive.



i have the .nsf file which is the same size as it was when I backed it up on my previous system. Now I have changed my PC and recently installed the Lotus Notes on it (version 7.0) and have tried to restore the .nsf file to no avail.



please what could the problem be?



I really dont know much about Lotus Notes as I only used it for emails in ,my previous job. I am now in a new job and need my emails.



Please I require your urgent assistance

pls note that I have the .nsf file and it is about 2GB...which makes me feel my mails are lying in there

Unfortunately I am not much help with Lotus Notes or Handy Backup. I'd suggest you ask them why it's not working. My theory is that you did not get a good backup of Lotus Notes because it wasn't shut down when you backed it up.
