Backup Central

My last post my have been a little misleading. Essentially what I would like to do is offer customers a locally hosted online storgage, not necessarily backup option. I'm looking for different server&client side options for this, licensed or open source to make it look nice. Obviously a crude FTP would work but I'm looking for something more polished. Any ideas?
