Is there a recommended maximum number of mounts for LTO tapes? (LTO2, LTO3, LTO4)

I’m concerned that some of older tapes over the course of its life have been mounted too many times and they could break. We have some tapes that have been mounted over 2000 times, is that too many? Awhile back we had a tape break while inside a drive. (Not to say you couldn’t have a brand new tape break while in a drive.)

I don't have the exact number, but the last time I checked, the number was high enough that typical users get nowhere near it. It was in the tens of thousands, which a typical use pattern is never going to approach.
