Monitoring and Reporting for both Backup Exec and Net Backup

Post Monitoring and Reporting for both Backup Exec and Net Backup 
Does NOM work with Backup Exec too, or just Net Backup? Does Backup Exec have something like NOM I can setup for a comprehensive email alerts for multiple backup systems?

Both products have their own respective monitoring systems. That cannot monitor each other.

In NBU it's NOM.

In BE, well... there is alerting via email about various errors or successful jobs. And the reporting is okay...

To tie it all together though for reporting data, as well as historical data longer than 6 months, you have Backup Reporter from Symantec.
