backup auditing

Post backup auditing 
I just wondered if any of you have ever done an independant audit of a companies backup processes/configuration, and if you did do you have a sample checklist or scope on whta you covered and how, theres over 80 servers to look at hosting apps like exchange, sql server, sharepoint, and running on windows server 2003 and 2008.

I dont suppose you have a checklist or similar from the 100 or so assessments you did, and would you be willing to share?
