I am working on a proposal to update our global backup infrastructure. We run Hyper-V clusters and HP-UX mainly, some physical boxes and a little VMware, with Oracle and SQL databases, exchange, sharepoint, active directory, etc.
We are looking at near Continuous Data Protection software including Avamar, Data Protection Manager and Commvault Simpana. I have also requested a presentation from Falconstor.
ANY opinions, comparisons of the above solutions (other than info already in BackupCentral forums) is GREATLY APPRECIATED!
