Post PST Backup
It's NOT free ( http://www.recoverytoolbox.com/buy_outlook.html ) and
commercial posts on this site are not allowed.

Subject: [Backups] PST Backup

At work with pst files i usually use-view pst
(http://www.recoverytoolbox.com/pst_view.html),because it is free as is
known, also it has many possibilities, yeu utility can help to restore a
mailbox, stored on Microsoft Exchange Server or a file with *.pst
extension, tool belongs to programs that view .pst,it will process any
file,it is safe to work even with damaged files, will perform necessary
actions, you can see a preview window, that shows recovered folder tree and
emails in a preview mode, can convert your file to a file with *.pst
extension, that follows the original structure, viewing pst files without
Outlook is not usually needed on a regular basis.

For PST files, I use something else, which is free, from Microsoft :

http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/outlook/HA010875321033.aspx

What it does (well it depens on how you configure it...) is that it makes a copy of your PST file when you close MS-Office. In my case, once a week. You can configure where you want that copy, so for me, it is really simple, I put it in a folder backed-up by BackupPC. When the file changes, BackupPC takes it without any error. It maybe not the best solutions, but in the case of the small company where I work, it's good enough.

My 2 cents!
