Backup Central

Hi all!!

I am using HP Storage View data protector manager to backup
my personal folder which are located on other server.

up to last week everything were ok, but now after backup
(who works correctly) I don't receive backup reports.

If I try to force Backup Reports, it tells:
'Reading from internal database...' and the process
doesn't say nothing else..

any suggestions???

Hi,
same happened to me when reports where configured to send notification by email. error in the sending process resulted in blocking something inside dp processes.

look if a process named omnirpt is blocked oin the server.

when I have any problems with Backup Reports, I restart
Server and then everythings returns working.
But I know only this method..

Next time I will check omnirpt process..
