I have some question about DP6.11. where I am working we have one cell manager and 4 Hosts connected to it , all of them has W2k3 , the cell manager is connected to tape library.
The four server working in billing system and each server has its own data at the moment I'm using DP to backup cell manager IDB and Hosts data in tape daily ,weekly and monthly
But what if one of the server goes down for some reason like hardware frailer, and I want to recover it ,I mean the partition and the user profile ... everything
I tried to Create Disk Image for all the server including the cell manager but DP cannot do it for c drive (operating system drive) because some file been used by the system so I start to read about how to Make disaster recovery for all the server but I seem not clear
I'd like to tell you that I have read most of the document about DP but still can't see how to prepare for disaster situation. I have to say that I'm still new in HP data protector and I'd like to exchange knowledge.
