Good day. This is my first post.
I am new to tape backup & not sure about certain situation here. Hope to get clarification from you.
I am using Data Protector Express Single Server 3.50 SP2.
Let's say I only use 1 tape to backup & my latest backup is on last week. Then my catalog corrupted & I restore the last good catalog which is up to date until last 2 weeks.
Now if I use the same tape to do backup again. What will happen? It will overwrite last week data but I still be able to restore last 2 weeks & older data? Or the whole backup in the tape will be loss?
