Hi.

I need to make a mirror of files on a server , so that files are openable from Windows explorer on the backup destination. How can I achieve that with BE?

You cant. BackupExec will backup files and when sent to disk, put it into a singular BKF file.

Why not rsync the directories, there are also GUI based RSYNC tools too.
