I am running Backup Exec 11D on a Windows 2000 Server. Iinstalled version 11d over existing version 10. When I was using 10, I noticed that everything was VERY slow to load. The only time it's not slow is if I actually reboot the server and open up Backup Exec for the first time. Then, the amount of time taken to run a job (usually restore, but it even takes a long time to navigate through the menus and refresing the devices.). The more time that passes from that reboot, the more slow the backup software is in responding - to everythng! Once I reboot the server everythings runs nomally for a day or two. The upgrade to version 11 did not fix this.
