Hallo,
I am using Backup Exec running overnight backups (Removable Backup To Disk Folders, and have 7 usb removable hard drives, all allocated the same Windows drive letter, one for every day of the week.
What I want to know is, can I just swap them over every morning?
I have set up the jobs so that they will have completed, or been cancelled by 6am so there shouldn't be a problem of still writing to the disks.
I don't want to have to log in, eject the disk, insert the new one, or run the Hot-swappable wizard. Just pull the old disk out and push the new one in.
I suspect I may have to run an inventory job before the backup, but I can schedule that.
Any ideas?
