Setup: I am running bkupexec 12 on w2K3 srv as the medium server. I have an agent with Exchange option installed on the Exchange 2003 server. The Bkup medium server is on a seperate VLAN than the Exchange server.
Problem: When I run a job to backup the storage groups I get the following error.(e0000f02 - The media server could not connect to the remote computer. The remote computer may not exist on the selected subnet. Try an alternative network interface, or allow Backup Exec to choose any available network interface.

Solutions tried:
Ping between servers ip and UNC. Results: successful
Setup User Defined jobs. Results:Storage grps seen during setup but error when job runs.
Configured vxmon.exe as suggested in Symantec support docs. Results: Same error.
Configured Bkupexec to use any available NIC as suggested by support docs. Results: Same Error
Searched for docs on working with Bkupexec and VLAN. Results: Nothing relating to my issue.
Please help.
