I need some help in order to deploy Exec Backup on our network ( about 50 workstations).
Context :
The goal of this project is to save some data localised on our user's workstation (4 weeks of retention / 250 Go).
I have installed the Exec backup server on a windows 2003 server.
On the workstation I've deployed the "Backup Exec Remote Agent", we don't have any DLO licences.
My problem :
I would like to use the "Backup Exec Retrieve" services (localised on the same server as Exec backup), so that the users can get their documents through the Web interface. I don't manage to connect "Backup Exec Retrieve" to "Exec Backup".
We don't have any System Recovery option, DLO, or file system Archiving Option.
Is it technicaly possible ? Do I need to deploy CPS ? Should I buy some DLO licences ?
