That's when installing from rpms that were not compiled for
that particular OS version.
libc.so.6(GLIBC_2.3) is needet bei amanda- 2.4.3-4.
1. Is libc.so.6 available on that system? Normally you find
it in /lib/libc.so.6 ? What version do you have?
2. What is the content of /etc/ld.so.conf ?
3. What is the output of "ldd /the/path/to/an/amanda/program".
Are there any other missing libraries?
But libc.so.6 is on the system. I tried to copy it into different
lib-directorys but it did not work.
What can I do? On 6 of 10 Systems the installation works fine
Compile from source. It's actually quite easy!
And you can run the last stable version (currently 2.4.4p3) instead
of a 2 year old one.
