I also grabbed the 3.2alpha, anything I need to change to use it?
Right now 3.2alpha and 3.1 are basically the same.
At this point your testing would be more helpful on 3.1. It's already
been helpful, in fact!
Dustin
I was referring to diffs between the 2.6.2alpha I've been using more or less
normally, and the 3.2alpha.
Curious, I fired up my newmanda script with that as an argument, and it runs
amcheck at the end:
Amanda Tape Server Host Check
-----------------------------
ERROR:lbl-templ set but no LPRCMD defined. You should reconfigure amanda
and make sure it finds a lpr or lp command.
Holding disk /dumps: 85819392 kB disk space available, using 85307392 kB
slot 21: volume 'Dailys-21' is still active and cannot be overwritten
slot 22: volume 'Dailys-22'
Will write to volume 'Dailys-22' in slot 22.
NOTE: skipping tape-writable test
Server check took 1.635 seconds
Amanda Backup Client Hosts Check
--------------------------------
Client check: 2 hosts checked in 6.472 seconds. 0 problems found.
(brought to you by Amanda 3.2alpha)
Looks copacetic to me.
