Backup Central

I found these files and directory being created upon boot, in the /tmp
directory. Do they have anything to do with Amanda? Thank you in
advance for any help you may be able to offer.

They are the sockets created by the ORB (object request broker) used
by gnome e.a. "backups" is the username.
