Has anyone seen file corruption on zip restore option:
"Option 2: Download Zip archive".
Second-level folders are files and small icons (for
example) become corrupt.
I can't seem to generate an error in logs.
$Conf{CompressLevel} = 3;
$Conf{GzipPath} = '/bin/gzip';
$Conf{ArchiveComp} = 'gzip';
backuppc 2.1.0beta1
CPAN says "Compress::Zlib is up to date."
server is linux Fedora Core 1
server gzip is 1.3.3
7-Zip and Win XP extract on the client
It seems compression may not be entirely happening on the
server side prior to shipping the file to the user, or extraction
from compressed archive prior to shipping via the zip.
suggestion for the beta: mailtos might aquire
$Conf{EMailUserDestDomain} wherever the mailto
shows up.
Maybe I've been at it too long and can't see the obvious. I do
like the 2.1 beta and will continue to work it.
