adding Wake-on-lan to backuppc?

Post adding Wake-on-lan to backuppc?
Gang,

Any thoughts on how to incorporate a simple wake-on-lan script into the
workings of Backuppc?

I've got lots of sleeping PCs to wake...

Scripts to do this are plentiful and pretty cool. Some require user
interaction; others just happily send their UDP "magic packet" out to a
pre-specified MAC address.

see:

tml
or http://www.gknw.com/mpform.html
This guy has a very cool script: http://80.4.116.219/netstate.php

Ideally BackupPC would run this script only just as a backup for a
particular PC is needed, lest it wake the sleeping PCs hourly.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

TOdd

I would imagine specifying the script in $Conf{DumpPreUserCmd} would do
the trick. Something like:

$Conf{DumpPreUserCmd} = '/usr/share/wol.sh $host';
