Hi,
Also, I recently released a new version 0.52 of File::RsyncP. This fixes
some intermittent hang problems caused by a deadlock in File::RsyncP.
If you are having problems with rsync transfers hanging using BackupPC
I recommend you upgrade.
Do I also have to upfgrade Backuppc?

To install File::RsyncP: no BackupPC upgrade is necessary.

To install the patch: yes, you need to re-install BackupPC after
apply the patch. But the patch is only if you are already using
BackupPC 2.1.0beta2, so ignore the patch if you are using another
version.
