Hi Craig,

But I can view & restore the files through browser=2E
Actually I've put pool, cpool, pc and trash directory under mounted remote=
directory and created a symbolic link for them=2E Is it because of the
symbolic link?
Please advise=2E

Hi Craig,
Congrats to BackupPC new release=2E I used it now=2E:)=20
Anyway, now it works after I changed the permission to 755:-)
Btw, I have a situation that I need to backup my local files to another
machine=2E Method I used is :
1=2E Created local share on Samba to share out whatever I want to back it =
up=2E
2=2E Mount another machine shared directory to local=2E
3=2E Backup from local through smb to mounted remote directories=2E
Is there any way to make it simple? Is it a must to create a local share
even the files is in local?
Thanks,
Han Lin

This is self explanatory=2E
You have a syntax error in your BackupPC config file
/home/backuppc/conf/config=2Epl, line 1251=2E Look for a
typo (most likely missing or mis-matching quotes etc)
around that line=2E
