Backup Central

Hi

I have been using BackupPC for a year or so now without any problems.
Recently I had to move to a different server. Now I receive hundreds of
entries in ../log/LOG like this:

BackupPC_link got error -4 when calling MakeFileLink(/home/backuppc/pc/
wasp/22/fMyFiles/fVB Example Code/fUsing simple MAPI from VB.net/attrib,
aa6ce3b33711fd6992f885b8345d1da4, 1)

I have no idea where to look. Any suggestions?

This says that BackupPC couldn't create a hardlink from

/home/backuppc/pc/wasp/22/fMyFiles/fVB Example Code/fUsing simple MAPI from VB.net/attrib

to /home/backuppc/cpool/a/a/6/aa6ce3b33711fd6992f885b8345d1da4.

There are several possibilities:

- Does /home/backuppc/pc/wasp/22/fMyFiles/fVB Example Code/fUsing simple MAPI from VB.net/attrib exist?

- Does /home/backuppc/cpool, ... /home/backuppc/cpool/a/a/6 exist?

- What are the permissions on these directories?

- What happens when you run these commands (ie: manually link):

su backuppc
ln /home/backuppc/pc/wasp/22/fMyFiles/fVB\ Example\ Code/fUsing\ simple\ MAPI\ from\ VB.net/attrib /home/backuppc/cpool/a/a/6/aa6ce3b33711fd6992f885b8345d1da4

- Do you have Compress::Zlib installed on the new machine?
