I've got some machines which I would like to blackout from 7am to 2am.
However, when I set BlackoutHourBegin to 7am and BlackoutHourEnd to 2am,
the blackout hours didn't seem to affect the schedule. Did I miss
something, or is this really something that can't be done? I'm using
BackupPC 2.0.2.

BackupPC 2.0.2 doesn't handle blackouts that span midnight.

BackupPC 2.1.0beta1 allows blacksouts to span midnight (simply by
setting begin > end, and also allows multiple blackout periods).

Note also that blackouts simply refer to when backups start. It
is still possible for backups to run during the blackout period
if they start prior to the blackout starting.

Thanks for the info, Craig. Maybe I'll give the beta a try on some
machines.

Cheers

Craig, thanks again for the input, I have been running the beta version
for a few days now and everything works great!
