Newbie trying to install BackupPC -- apache huh?

Post Newbie trying to install BackupPC -- apache huh?
installed rh9 fine, have used it a little.

Installed backuppc fine, all perl libs fine, cygwin-rsyncd fine on xp clients.

logged in as backuppc, ran backuppc appears to be fine (config.pl is fine, rsyncd stuff fine.)

But how do I get this web interface going -- I don't know apache from cherokee. I have two logins on this pc: root and backup, so apache group huh? apache login huh?

I go back to when I installed movable type: just a couple of things to tweak and ftp and then you set the whole thing up using a web interface -- I'm wishing this had that kind of interface, but whole different crowd (you guys are linux smarties).

So can anyone give me soup-to-nuts on how to do the right apache things from total clean installation so as to run web interface and see happy bakcups?

thank you thank you thank you.
