I am using backuppc to take remote backups of my servers and desktops
here at work. I have one debian machine that controls and stores the
backups, I also have a Snap Appliance 440 with 1TB of storage, I would
like to store the backups on this server. I cannot run backuppc directly
on the Snap Server, so I was thinking I would use the current debian box
to control the backup process, and just save the files to an NFS mount
off my NAS. I have this set up, but I am running into a problem. The
backup process runs fine, but no files are copied, only the directories
are created. In my error log for the test host, I see lines like this:
Can't link /var/lib/backuppc/pc/swordfish/new/fC/fbackup/attrib to /var/lib/backuppc/cpool/2/2/2/22297ba17667243067f786e3f2e2d56c
Any idea what the problem is here?
thanks
Jason
