Zip archives do not work well for restoring unix systems. Is there a
way I can remove the zip archive option from the restore page for some
hosts?

No, there isn't a way to do this, other than removing Archive::Zip,
and that can't be done per-host.

The direct restore can be disabled in 2.1.0 by setting the Restore
commands to undef. But similar configuration options don't exist
for zip or tar restore.
