I have a remote host (Windows 2000 Server) that I am trying to back up
using rsync over ssh. I have gotten that working, but it is extremely slow.
Given that the data is largely made up of dBase files, which compress
extremely well, can I use the '--compress' option in Conf{RsyncArgs}?
Am I correct in my understanding that this will compress the data
stream, not the actual files?
Any thoughts?
