Post search across backed-up machines?
Is there any reasonably fast way to find a file if it exists on
any of the backup runs from any machine? That is, you know
the filename but don't know where it was stored.

A low-tech, but usually effective, solution would be to jump onto a
shell account on that machine and run the command 'locate f<filename>'

That should show you the backup up version of in anywhere on the system;
BackupPC prepends the 'f' to the name internally...

Run unix find from the /data/BackupPC/pc directory. Add an "f" to
the front of the file name.

or this method, which may be less efficient (since two programs are
invoked), but catches variations in case:

find|grep -i <string>
