I have a question, but I'd like to hunt for it in the archives, however I
don't see a search function, is there one?

I can ask here, but I didn't want to annoy anyone with problems that have
been answered a thousand times.

*cough* could not read 4 bytes on restore *cough*

Anyway, am I just overlooking it?

I'm guessing you are running rsync and trying to do a restore. Is this
rsync or rsyncd? If rsyncd, is the share you are trying to restore to
read only? (See the read only option in man rsyncd.conf.)

Failing that, you should include the entire RestoreLOG.bad file (or the
first few and last few lines if it is big).
