Backup Central

I've got a host where I am backing up multiple rsync shares over a slow
WAN link. I'd like to manage each share individually such that each shar=
e
is backed up independantly from the others. The only way I could think o=
f
setting this up would be to setup multiple DNS CNAMEs for this host and
then configure each CNAME appropriately. Is there a better way of doing
this without adding DNS CNAMEs?
